Newsletter – 12th Jul 2019
Dear Sir/Madam,
Not a lot to report from the office since our last newsletter. We had one of the busiest ends to a financial year’s for a long time with a large number of super contributions to process.
Emma and our ‘old faithful’ Monica (ex-staff) recently supported our client Gayle again with her annual bus trip for the Leukaemia Foundation. The girls took in the beautiful Scenic Rim with a morning tea stop at Moogerah Dam, a quick stop at the Scenic Rim Brewery at Mt Alford and lunch in Boonah. They then headed to Little Pee Dee Nursery at Kalbar before our final stop at Paradine Estate Wine in Harrisville. Always a great day exploring our surrounding areas and shopping up a storm!
Rod’s comment:
The Australian sharemarket has finally reached levels achieved just before the GFC hit in late 2007. This has taken far longer than many experts had predicted. “Let’s hope it is a case of good things come to those who wait.”
The US sharemarket continues to be the powerhouse of world sharemarkets despite Mr Trump’s best efforts (tweets) to undermine this. Overall, I am expecting sharemarkets to provide solid rather than high returns over the next 12 months.
Until next month,
Emma
